Designed together with lorbus for Banalextra.
The concept aims to explore the potential uses of a long mirrored surface considering 2 aspects:
-The link between a mirror and a tape measure and the fact that they both monitor physical changes. (image and lenght)
-The similarities in the interface between user-object, because in both cases the user stands in front of the object in order to use it.
By combining these we wanted to creates some sort of “watch yourself grow”
We couldn’t resist the POP (Oldenburg) twist, since it is a product that could easily be placed in a kids bedroom.
BTW, “Regolo” means “ruler” in Italian.

Among others, The inspiration for the eyeglass box was an egg shell. Where a soft shape with a very light and thin skin contains a rubbery interior to prevent the
glass from damaging. The graphic “gap” that runs around all the products connecting them, were a translated detail from the Shop’s interior design.
